Could a simple ear device ease the hidden stress of our heroes?
NCT ID NCT07109349
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive device that gently stimulates nerves in the ear can help improve mental wellness in first responders like firefighters and police officers. Fifty participants will use the device daily for four weeks while tracking their mood, stress, sleep, and burnout levels through questionnaires. The goal is to see if this approach can help reduce anxiety and improve resilience in a high-stress profession.
