Can a tingle in your ear change how you breathe?
NCT ID NCT07482930
Summary
This study aims to see if a brief, non-invasive electrical stimulation of the ear can temporarily change breathing test results in healthy adults. 50 healthy volunteers will be randomly assigned to receive either a real or a fake (sham) stimulation for about 10 minutes. Researchers will measure lung function before and after to see if the stimulation makes any difference, helping to understand how the body's automatic nervous system might influence breathing.
