Scientists scan brains to see if ear stimulation helps autism

NCT ID NCT06698328

Summary

This small study explored whether a gentle, at-home ear stimulation treatment could help manage symptoms in teens with autism. Researchers used MRI brain scans to look for changes in brain activity before and after a month of treatment. The main goal was to find brain scan patterns that could track any effects, not to prove the treatment works.
