Ear pellets vs. eye drops: race to stop Kids' nearsightedness

NCT ID NCT07475585

Summary

This study aims to see if pressing special pellets on the ear, using low-dose atropine eye drops, or both can delay or prevent the start of nearsightedness in children. It will involve 380 children aged 4 to 14 who show early signs of risk for becoming nearsighted. Researchers will compare these methods over 18 months to see which best slows eye growth and vision changes.
