Summary
This study tested whether gentle electrical stimulation of the ear nerve could help people with sudden, painful pancreas inflammation (acute pancreatitis). Researchers enrolled 60 patients to see if this non-invasive treatment could reduce their discomfort and help them start eating normally again sooner. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either real or fake stimulation to compare results.
