Zapping the ear to tune down pain?

NCT ID NCT07325058

Summary

This study is exploring whether a gentle electrical stimulation on a specific part of the outer ear can change how healthy people feel pain. Researchers will compare the effects of this stimulation to a fake treatment and a different type of stimulation. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how the body's nervous system controls pain perception.
