This study tested whether stimulating a nerve in the ear (auricular vagus nerve stimulation) can improve how the body handles sugar and affect mood in people with obesity and prediabetes. 70 participants received the stimulation along with lifestyle advice. The goal was to see changes in blood sugar and insulin resistance.
