Summary
This study tested whether stimulating a nerve in the ear (auricular vagus nerve stimulation) could improve how the body handles sugar and affect mood in people with obesity and prediabetes. 70 participants received the stimulation along with lifestyle advice. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive technique could help control blood sugar and insulin resistance.
