Summary
This study is testing whether ear acupuncture (auriculotherapy) can help reduce pain after carpal tunnel surgery. Researchers will compare real ear acupuncture to fake treatments in 50 patients having outpatient hand surgery. The goal is to see if this approach can lower pain levels and reduce the need for pain medication during the first three days after surgery.
