Needles in ears tested to soothe Students' dry eyes

NCT ID NCT06876077

Summary

This study tested whether a form of acupuncture on the ear could help improve dry eye symptoms. Fifty university students with dry eyes were randomly assigned to receive either real or fake ear acupuncture, along with artificial tear drops, for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in eye discomfort and quality of life to see if the ear treatment provided extra relief.
