Summary
This study tested whether a form of acupuncture on the ear could help relieve dry eye symptoms in university students. Fifty students with dry eyes were randomly assigned to receive either real ear acupuncture or a fake version, along with standard artificial tear eye drops, for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in eye discomfort and quality of life to see if the ear treatment provided extra benefit.
