Needles in ears may cool hot flashes for breast cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT06369168
Summary
This study tested whether ear acupuncture could help reduce hot flashes in women with breast cancer who are taking hormone-blocking therapy. Researchers compared two different ear acupuncture methods against no acupuncture in 107 participants. The goal was to see if this approach could ease a common and distressing side effect and improve overall well-being.
