Can a simple ear touch calm breast cancer surgery fears?

NCT ID NCT07423039

Summary

This study is testing if a non-drug therapy called auricular (ear) acupressure can help reduce anxiety and pain for women having surgery for a first-time breast cancer diagnosis. It will compare 66 patients who receive the ear acupressure during their hospital stay to patients who receive standard care alone. The goal is to see if this complementary approach improves comfort and recovery around the time of surgery.
