New study tests Team-Based care to tackle high blood pressure in underserved communities

Summary

This study compares a team-based program that addresses both medical and social needs to standard care for managing high blood pressure. It will enroll 200 African American and Latinx adults with uncontrolled hypertension. The main goal is to see if more people can lower their systolic blood pressure by at least 10 mmHg after 6 months.
