First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested a special stent graft (E-liac) to treat bulges in the iliac artery (aneurysms) that can be life-threatening if they burst. 71 patients received the device, either alone or with other grafts for related aortic bulges. The goal was to see if the stent graft could safely prevent rupture and death. Patients needed lifelong follow-up to monitor for complications like leaks or blockages.
