Can vaping help break a deadly habit? study tests flavors for smokers in recovery

Summary
This study is testing whether providing flavored e-cigarettes can help people who have an opioid addiction and are on medication treatment to smoke fewer traditional cigarettes. It will enroll 90 adult smokers who are not currently trying to quit. The main goal is to see if switching to e-cigarettes leads to a meaningful reduction in harmful cigarette smoking over 6 months.
