Can text messages stop young adults from vaping?
NCT ID NCT07038317
Summary
This study aims to understand if specially designed text messages about the risks of e-cigarettes can influence young adults' vaping habits. Researchers will send different types of educational messages to 120 participants over 6 months to see if they help current vapers quit or prevent non-vapers from starting. The study will track both self-reported behavior and saliva tests to measure nicotine exposure.
