NCT ID NCT05431387
Summary
This study tested whether a medication called cytisinicline could help adults quit using nicotine e-cigarettes. 160 daily vapers were randomly assigned to receive either the real drug or a placebo pill for 12 weeks, along with behavioral support. The main goal was to see if the medication helped people stay completely vape-free for the final month of treatment.
