New hope for blood cancer patients: experimental combo therapy enters phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug combination (DZD8586 plus other medicines) in 66 adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma who are newly diagnosed or have not yet been treated. The goal is to see if the combination is safe and can keep the cancer from growing for at least two years. Participants will receive the treatment and be monitored for side effects and how well the cancer responds.
