First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests if a gel called DYNAVISC can reduce pain after a second surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. About 50 adults who still have pain after their first surgery will take part. Half will get standard surgery plus the gel, and the other half will get standard surgery with a fat pad flap. The goal is to see which approach better eases pain and helps hand function return.
