New mapping technique could make heart ablation more precise

NCT ID NCT07573579

First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new technique called Dynamic Voltage Mapping to help doctors more accurately find and destroy the abnormal heart tissue causing ventricular tachycardia (VT), a life-threatening fast heart rhythm. The study will involve 40 adults with VT who are already scheduled for a standard catheter ablation procedure. The goal is to see if this new mapping method works well in real-world procedures and may reduce the chance of VT coming back.
