First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested two different physical therapy techniques for people with lumbar radiculopathy (leg pain from a pinched nerve in the lower back). 72 adults aged 25-50 with pain lasting over 4 weeks were split into two groups. One group did dynamic stretching plus routine physiotherapy, and the other did a nerve-gliding technique (slider neurodynamic) plus the same routine physiotherapy. Both groups received treatment four times a week for six weeks. The goal was to see which approach better reduced pain and improved daily function.
