New splint tested to help hands heal better after surgery

NCT ID NCT07290348

Summary

This study tested whether using a special movable hand splint could help people regain better finger and wrist movement after surgery to repair a torn finger tendon. It involved 40 adults aged 20-40 who had this specific surgery. Researchers measured how much movement participants had in their hands before using the splint, after one month, and at the end of treatment.
