First human test for new cholesterol pill
NCT ID NCT07319559
Summary
This was an early safety study to see how the body absorbs and processes two forms of a new drug candidate, DW5124, intended to treat mixed dyslipidemia (a cholesterol and fat disorder). It involved 55 healthy adult volunteers to check for side effects and see if taking the drug with food changes how it works in the body. The goal was to gather basic safety data to see if the drug is ready for further testing in patients.
