New immunotherapy combo shows promise for Late-Stage lung cancer

Summary
This study tests two immunotherapy drugs, durvalumab and tremelimumab, with or without chemotherapy, in 301 people with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to see if these drugs help the immune system fight cancer and improve overall survival. Participants must have advanced cancer that has spread and cannot be cured, so the focus is on controlling the disease.
