First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a newer epidural method called dural puncture epidural against the standard epidural for women having planned C-sections. The goal was to see if the newer technique could provide faster and more reliable pain relief. 91 healthy pregnant women took part, and researchers measured how quickly the anesthesia took effect and if there were any side effects like low blood pressure.
