New patch for brain surgery gets Real-World safety check

NCT ID NCT06802133

Summary

This study is monitoring the safety and performance of a collagen patch (DuraMatrix-Onlay Plus) that surgeons use to repair the protective lining around the brain (dura mater) after surgery. It will track 118 patients to see how well the patch works and if any complications, like fluid leaks or infections, occur. The main goal is to see how many patients need a second surgery because the initial repair didn't heal properly.
