New dual heart pump offers hope for patients with advanced heart failure

Summary
This study is testing a new device called the DuoCor 2 Ventricular Assist System for people with advanced heart failure affecting both sides of the heart. The device uses two small pumps to help the heart circulate blood, aiming to improve survival and quality of life. About 50 participants will be enrolled to see if the device is safe and effective.
