Scientists test how kids with spina bifida juggle tasks

NCT ID NCT06949475

Summary

This study aimed to understand how children with myelomeningocele (a severe form of spina bifida) perform when doing two things at once, like moving their hands while counting. Researchers compared 60 children with the condition to typically developing peers. They measured hand skills and cognitive tasks performed alone and together to see if there were differences in performance.
