Summary
This study tested whether a special type of hip implant (dual mobility cup) can prevent the hip from popping out of place after total hip replacement surgery for a broken hip. Researchers compared this implant to standard ones in 1,600 elderly patients. The goal was to see if the new design lowers the risk of dislocation within the first year after surgery.
