Summary
This study tested whether using a special light device at home, along with a standard steroid mouth rinse, could better control pain and inflammation in people with oral lichen planus affecting the gums. Thirteen adults with confirmed disease took part. The goal was to see if the light treatment could reduce pain scores and signs of inflammation over one year.
