Summary
This study tested if a special light device used at home can help manage severe chronic gum disease (stage III-IV). Fifty-six adults with advanced gum disease used the device regularly alongside standard care. The goal was to reduce gum bleeding and improve overall oral health without needing extra in-office treatments.
