Summary
This study tests whether a specific probiotic (De Simone Formulation) can lower bile acid levels in stool and improve diarrhea in people with bile acid malabsorption. About 24 adults with confirmed bile acid diarrhea will take the probiotic or a placebo daily for several weeks. The main goal is to see if the probiotic reduces bile acid in stool and improves gut barrier function.
