First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive needle treatments—dry needling and percutaneous electrolysis—for easing shoulder pain caused by muscle knots (trigger points). About 40 adults with shoulder pain for at least 3 months will receive one of the treatments plus standard therapy. The goal is to see which approach provides better short-term pain relief and improves daily function.
