Tiny needles vs finger pressure: which eases chronic headaches best?
NCT ID NCT07192497
Summary
This study tested whether dry needling (inserting thin needles into tight muscles) or acupressure (applying pressure to specific points) works better for reducing pain from headaches that start in the neck. Researchers compared these treatments, their combination, and a simple hot pack therapy in 80 adults with chronic headaches. They measured pain levels, neck movement, and quality of life before treatment, right after, and two weeks later.
