Needles vs. no needles: speeding up shoulder recovery after surgery
NCT ID NCT02704975
Summary
This study tested whether adding dry needling to standard physical therapy helps people recover faster after shoulder stabilization surgery. It involved 39 adults who had the surgery, comparing those who got physical therapy plus weekly dry needling to those who got physical therapy alone. The goal was to see if the combination led to less pain, better shoulder movement, and faster improvement over six months.
