Summary
This study tests whether dry needling (inserting fine needles into tight muscles) can reduce pain during intercourse in women with provoked vestibulodynia, a common and often debilitating vulvar pain condition. About 170 women will receive either real or sham dry needling once a week for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels, sexual function, and quality of life right after treatment and again 6 months later.
