Needle precision: ultrasound guides fight against chronic muscle pain
NCT ID NCT06546124
Summary
This study aimed to find out which of two dry needling techniques works better for relieving chronic muscle pain in the neck and shoulder. Researchers used ultrasound imaging to guide the needles more precisely. They compared a superficial technique with a deeper one in 80 patients to see which improved pain, movement, and daily life more effectively.
