NCT ID NCT07368517
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether dry needling (thin needles placed into muscle knots) combined with neck exercises works better than standard treatments like TENS and ultrasound for people with long-lasting mechanical neck pain. Forty adults aged 25 to 65 took part, receiving treatment three times a week for four weeks. Researchers measured pain, neck movement, and daily function to see which approach helped more.
