Summary
This study looked at whether dry needling, a treatment where thin needles are inserted into muscles, can improve insulin resistance in obese women who have gone through menopause. 52 women took part. The main goal was to see if the treatment lowered a key measure of insulin resistance called HOMA-IR. The study also checked changes in belly fat, weight, and waist size.
