Needles tested to unlock stiff muscles in kids with CP

NCT ID NCT06856473

Summary

This study tested whether a therapy called dry needling could help children with cerebral palsy. Researchers wanted to see if inserting thin needles into tight muscles could reduce stiffness and make everyday movements easier. They measured muscle tone, walking speed, and overall motor skills in 48 children before and after the treatment.
