Eye drop dosing tested for millions with dry, irritated eyes
NCT ID NCT04704531
Summary
This study tested whether a preservative-free eye drop called Lagricel® (containing sodium hyaluronate) could ease the symptoms of dry eye. Researchers enrolled 141 adults with mild to moderate dry eye to compare three different dosing schedules: two, four, or six times per day. The main goal was to see which schedule best improved patients' self-reported eye comfort and surface health.
