New eye drop study targets stubborn dry eye inflammation

NCT ID NCT07234318

Summary

This study is observing how well a prescription eye drop containing cyclosporine works for people with moderate to severe dry eye disease. It focuses on patients whose dry eye symptoms and related eye surface inflammation haven't improved enough with regular artificial tear drops. Researchers will track changes in dryness and eye redness over 12 weeks to see if the new drops help control the condition.
