Dry eye drop success predicted by simple eye exams?
NCT ID NCT04125134
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether certain eye tests can tell which people with dry eye will feel better after using artificial tears. About 36 adults used preservative-free eye drops twice daily for 4 weeks and had their symptoms and eye health checked before and after. The goal was to see if a test using a saltwater solution could help predict who gets the most relief.
