First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new AI screening system to help doctors find severe dry eye cases that need specialist care. About 200 adults already diagnosed with dry eye will use the AI tool alongside a simple symptom questionnaire. The goal is to see if the AI can improve detection and guide treatment, so fewer patients are referred unnecessarily.
