Eye-Opening study: which device best measures dry Eye's oil layer?

NCT ID NCT07579130

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at three different machines that measure the thickness of the eye's oil layer in people with dry eye disease. Researchers want to see how well these devices agree with each other and which one best matches standard dry eye tests. About 50 adults with dry eye will take part. The goal is to improve how doctors measure and understand dry eye, not to test a new treatment.
