Summary

This early-stage study tests whether transplanting special stem cells (RPESC-RPE) into the eye is safe for people with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common cause of vision loss. About 18 adults over age 55 will receive the cell transplant during eye surgery. The main goal is to check for side effects like vision loss, inflammation, or tumor growth, not to cure the disease.
