Scientists test if age changes how your body handles a pain drug
NCT ID NCT07413367
Summary
This study aims to understand how age affects the way the body processes a drug called TNX-102 SL, which is approved to treat fibromyalgia. Researchers will give a single dose to 50 healthy participants, comparing blood levels in younger adults (18-45) to older adults (65+). The goal is to see if the drug behaves differently in older people, which is important for future safe use.
