Healthy volunteers help uncover drug interaction risks for ZX008

NCT ID NCT06679413

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at how a new drug called ZX008 affects the way the body processes three other common drugs (midazolam, bupropion, and metformin) in 22 healthy adults aged 18 to 55. Participants took the three drugs alone first, then again after receiving ZX008. The goal was to measure changes in drug levels in the blood and check for side effects. This is a phase 1 drug-drug interaction study, not a treatment for any disease.
