Scientists test drug mix in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07308041
Summary
This early-stage study tested whether taking a new heartburn medication (linaprazan glurate) for a week changes how the body processes a common antibiotic (amoxicillin). The trial involved 12 healthy adults who took both drugs while researchers measured drug levels in their blood. The goal was to understand potential drug interactions before testing in patients with acid reflux disease.
